Common Issues

Blocking is not working

• make sure your subscription is active
• make sure Screen Time permission is approved
• make sure at least one protected app is selected
• make sure blocking rules or Brick Mode are turned on
• make sure a prayer unlock window is not already active

I finished the prayer unlock but the app is still blocked

• reopen Torah First and wait a moment for the unlock window to begin
• check that the selected unlock duration is greater than zero
• make sure the blocked app is one of the currently protected apps
• reopen the blocked app after the local notification handoff finishes

I need to change my protected apps

Open the Blocking tab in Torah First and tap the protected apps card to choose new apps, categories, or websites.

I need to restore my purchase

Open the paywall and tap Restore Purchases.

Notifications are not arriving

Make sure local notifications are allowed for Torah First in iPhone Settings.

Review Notes Shortcut

1. Subscribe or restore an active subscription.
2. Grant Screen Time access.
3. Select at least one protected app.
4. Open the protected app to trigger the shield screen.
5. Send the prayer notification.
6. Tap the Torah First notification.
7. Complete the prayer unlock inside Torah First.
8. Return to the protected app during the unlock window.
