Privacy Policy
Privacy Policy for Torah First
Reality Shifting LLC ("we", "our", or "us") operates Torah First. This Privacy Policy explains what information Torah First handles, how it is used, and what choices you have.
Information Torah First Handles
Information stored locally on your device
Torah First stores app settings and activity needed to make the app work, including protected app selections, unlock window settings, prayer unlock history, streak and daily check-in history, and local app preferences.
This information is stored locally on your device and in the app group storage used by the app’s Screen Time extensions.
Subscription information
Torah First uses RevenueCat to help validate subscriptions and determine whether premium access is active. RevenueCat may process purchase-related information such as subscription product purchased, purchase and renewal status, and entitlement status.
Torah First does not require you to create an account.
Screen Time permission
If you grant Screen Time / Family Controls access, Torah First uses Apple’s Screen Time APIs to let you choose apps, categories, and websites to guard, apply blocking rules, allow prayer-based unlock windows, and read report data such as pickups for protected apps.
Notifications
Torah First can send local notifications to bring you back into the app to complete a prayer unlock flow.
How We Use Information
We use information only to operate the app and its features, including:
- enforcing blocking rules you choose
- starting and ending unlock windows
- showing streaks, history, pickups, and related progress views
- validating subscriptions
- restoring purchases
- troubleshooting app issues
Tracking and Advertising
Torah First does not use third-party advertising SDKs and does not use your data for cross-app tracking.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information.
We share limited data with service providers only where needed to run the app. At this time, that includes Apple, for in-app purchases, subscription management, notifications, and Screen Time APIs, and RevenueCat, for subscription validation and entitlement management.
Data Retention
Most app activity data is stored locally on your device until you remove it, reset the app, or delete the app.
Subscription-related records handled by Apple or RevenueCat are retained according to their own systems and policies.
Your Choices
- deny or revoke Screen Time permission in iPhone Settings
- turn notifications off in iPhone Settings
- manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings
- delete the app to remove locally stored app data from your device
Children
Torah First is not directed to children.
